Pole Bean, Stringless Blue Lake S-7
NEW 60 days. An improved Blue Lake pole with the famous Blue Lake pole flavor, now stringless. Distinctive for its sparse foliage and easy pinking characteristics. Pods are borne on spurs extending will out from the vines. Plants are very productive, showing good vigor and climbing ability. Pods are long, 6 to 6.5 inches, round, smooth, very meaty, dark green, tender, and slow to develop seeds.

 

Carrot, Karina Hybrid
75 days. This hybrid carrot has exceptionally sweet flavor and high beta carotene content. The carrots are 8 - 9 inches long, slightly tapered with blunt, well filled tips, small cores, fine color and much better flavored than the store-bought carrots. Vigorous grower with strong tops.

 
 

Sweet Corn, Precocious Hybrid (se)
66 days. This early yellow corn is among the earliest of the homozygous SE corns. Well suited to the northern states and Canada. With a plant height of about 54 inches this corn is noted for good tip fill even under stress.

 
 

Sweet Corn, Holiday Hybrid (sh2)(bicolor)
An exceptional supersweet bicolor. It is a gourmet sweet corn with superior flavor and crispness. It is noted for its beautiful ears and near perfect fill. Holiday has demonstrated better cold soil emergence than most supersweets.

Tomato, Sunsugar Hybrid
62 days. This yellow cherry tomato may be the sweetest tomato available. It won ‘Best Flavor’ in our cherry tomato taste tests. Not only is sunsugar incredibly sweet but it is nutritious too. These tasty tomatoes have a very high vitamin A content. The breeder was even able to add more crack resistance while retaining very thin skin on the tasty tomato, which creates a pleasant eating experience. Vigorous, indeterminate plants are resistant to Fusarium wilt race 1 and to Tobacco Mosaic Virus.

Plectranthus, Silver Shield
NEW. 24 inches. Like an oversized dusty miller this vigorous plant has large, soft silvery-gray, textured leaves that combine will with lavenders, purples, and blues in mixed plantings. Easy to grow, robust and bushy growing 24 inches or more and spreading the same. The early-to-produce seed-grown plectranthus offers better branching that vegetative varieties, with no pinching needed. Silver Shield produces long, graceful spikes with small, very light blue florets in late summer.
