Ratibida is also known as Coneflower for its long, protruding bud. Its know to grow in the prairie lands of the United States. The small flowers grow atop long, stiff, skinny stems that grow in bunches. Ratibida actually belongs to the sunflower family as the shade of the petals and the shape of the buds are reminiscent of the sunflower plant.
